Bio

Kate Mulholland was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and currently lives in Houston, Texas. She attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati and graduated with a BFA from the University of Houston while studying Geosciences.

Hailing from a state whose contamination sparked the founding of the EPA, her fascination with the mechanics of nature and the environment began at a very early age. Today she combines various methods of making and recycling to mimic Earth's physical processes to capture colorful composites of community, physical movement, and time.
